Upon completion of the Idaho Enhanced CCW course you will learn the fundamentals of how to safely carry a concealed handgun. Improve your mental awareness of how to safely assess your environment and safely defend yourself from a threat.
Lecture topics include in the Idaho Enhanced CCW class: Safe gun handling, personal protection and defensive tactics, and handgun basics. A licensed Attorney will educate you on the Federal and State Laws regarding firearms and criminal and civil liability.
Idaho Enhanced CCW gun Range Drills include: Range Safety rules: Safe gun handling at all times, grip, stance, sight picture, sight alignment, and trigger control. You will learn how to safely load and unload your firearm and handle malfunctions.
You will shoot at least 100 rounds of ammunition, transitioning from target shooting, perfect sight picture, to point and shoot. You will also learn techniques such as shooting from cover, and safe magazine changes or speed loader changes for your revolver. You will learn how to safely draw and shoot from a holster as well, forming solid skills needed for your Idaho Enhanced CCW.

Firearm – Ammunition – Dress Requirements:
- Firearm
- Belt holster that correctly fits your firearm and covers the trigger
- Sturdy belt
- 150 rounds of ammunition
- 2 magazines for your semi-automatic gun, or one speed loader for your revolver
- Eye and ear protection (prefer electronic hearing protection)
- Hat
- Clothing appropriate for the weather – high neck shirt
- Sturdy shoes or tennis shoes. No sandals or open toe shoes
- Bring water (Please – no food on the range)

This course focuses on heightening your shooting skills and defensive shooting tactics.
The entire course is covered on the Shooting Range.
You will improve on your speed, accuracy and fine tune your safe gun handling skills.
You will be able to safely and quickly perform magazine and speed loader changes.
You will also perfect your drawing from holster, and work towards timed shots to improve your overall speed for defensive shooting.
